Letter from the Leadership Team:

Hi guys,
As a leadership team we wanted to send out a message, with the latest coronavirus guidance for Churches.  Our Friends at the Baptist Church have helped us with some of the legal information in this letter.

Firstly, we have really appreciated your support and understanding during this difficult and challenging last few months.  Thanks for all the prayers, encouragement, and perseverance.  I have personally been so encouraged by the love, support and trust in God that has been so evident amongst us!!

Under the new guidance there is no longer a requirement to socially distance or wear a face mask in the school building.  Also, happy days!! - congregational singing is now permitted.

As Revive City Church, we have a legal responsibility to implement reasonable measures to lessen the risks of infection from covid-19.   Because the Church is a family, we care for one another and feel the need to put a few things in place to protect the more vulnerable folk amongst us and those visiting us.

The leadership team have put their heads together and created a plan for the next 6 weeks- starting from Sunday 1st August, and to be reviewed the 7th of September:
  1. We will keep a record off attendance for each Sunday, to help with track and Trace, if there were any cases amongst us.
  2. We will be designing the seating arrangements in a way that is suitable and safe, with over a metre gap between rows.  Families will be grouped together, as well as folk in a family’s bubble- they can also sit together.
  3. We will introduce a One-Way system in the building.  Please wear a Face Mask whenever walking around the facility and can we ask you to make your way directly to the seating area please.  Masks are not required for singing or when seated or outside the facility.    Please feel free to congregate outside the front entrance before and after the meeting.
  4. If you would prefer to keep your face mask on for the whole of our time together, please feel completely free to do this.   If you suffer with bad health and feel you need extra protection, please contact Tim Q- 07715883820 or a member of the leadership team.
  5. Although we recognise it is not always easy to keep your children close by, could we ask parents to please keep a close eye on their kids.
  6. For this period, we will not be providing coffees or teas.  Yet please feel free to bring your own for yourselves and your kids.  We will have a small selection of drinks and wrapped biscuits for emergencies and visiting kids.
  7.  Lastly, if you have any Covid symptoms please do not attend church worship on a Sunday morning.  Thank you.

Thanks again for all your support and love, please continue to be patient with each other as we seek to move forwards into the mission and blessing God has got for us.
