It's great to have training days as a region - the next 'Equipping the Church' day will be focussed on Evangelism with Steve Hurd and the Euangelion Team. "Good News People In a Bad News World" An opportunity to join with others from our church family across Cumbria and North Lancashire for a day to be equipped and empowered in sharing our faith with others. This is for everybody in a local church. Input from the ChristCentral Churches Euangelion Team: Steve Hurd - The Ark Church, Huddersfield; Will Pattison - City Church, Sheffield; Graham Webb - Jubilee Church, Liverpool. There is a shift in our culture - people are increasingly open to the Gospel, young people are buying Bibles. There is a hunger for God and a desire in our society to reconnect with ancient Christian roots - it's time to be strengthened in our confidence in the Gospel and equipped to share with others, like never before in our life time. "I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest." Jesus (John 4:35) There's more information, and the booking form, available here: Course Registration Form Wednesday 11th of March - We are hungry for God's presence. Our Vision, as a Church, is to grow together as a place where God's presence is welcomed, pursued, enjoyed and given away.
We want to prioritise the Holy Spirit amongst us, by creating more space for Him to move & change lives. So... every 2 months we are going to be gathering on a Wednesday evening, to do exactly this - to practise His presence, (and to collectively learn, how we can host, follow and love the Holy Spirit), through worship, prayer & lots of joy. Our next Practising His Presence will be on Wednesday 11th of March 2026 - more details to follow. Monday 26th - Friday 30th of January - We're looking forward to gathering, praying and focusing on Jesus for our Prayer and Fasting Week.
